If you’re looking for a hotel that offers a very reasonable room rate within the city limits of St. Louis then this is the place for you. The price to stay here should suit a budget traveller just fine.

Getting into the center of St. Louis is simple when you stay here, just turn out onto Interstate 44 and it’s a 20 minute drive there. If you want to stay close to the hotel, there’s a whole bunch of restaurants just a short walk away.

You can’t fault the efforts of the staff here, they do everything they can to make you feel welcome. From reception to housekeeping, they are always smiling and creating a warm atmosphere. If you have a request they deal with it politely and quickly.

The soundproofing at this hotel is pretty terrible, so expect to hear any conversations that are taking place in the room next to yours. If you have noisy neighbors this could end up being an even bigger problem.

The hotel allows smoking in some of its rooms, but with a linked ventilation system it seems that even the nonsmoking rooms have a whiff of cigarettes about them. If your room is smelly demand a change at reception straight away.

This place has seen better days, so don’t expect the height of modernity when you arrive. Staying a night or two is bearable, but to keep customers coming back this place desperately needs some renovation.
