Positive Reviews
positive:
Fantastic location.
Patagonia Sur was ideally situated for exploring the sites. Guests would stay again just for the excellent proximity to the cathedral and main square, and several said that being in such a great position in the historic centre was well worth the room cost.
positive:
A friendly place.
Front desk staff were great representatives of this hotel. When questioned about the city, staff were genuinely willing to help, and guests wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here based on the nice hospitality.
positive:
A few nice surprises.
Guests found a lot of nice touches that made a difference to their stay, including big and bright windows, lots of clothing storage, and upscale toiletries. Having the use of a lift was also a big positive, as well as the minibar and tea and coffee making facilities.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Cramped quarters.
Guests said rooms were a tight fit for two people. Based on guest feedback, it might be worth it to splurge on a room with a terrace during the warmer months, just for the extra bit of space. On the bright side, the bathroom was a good size, and guests said that the inadequacy of space was often made up for with large, comfortable beds and spotless interiors.
negative:
Double check directions.
Even with the assistance of GPS, some guests were left baffled when trying to find the hotel. They encountered a lot of one way and impassable streets, making it a real challenge to get to their final destination.
negative:
Breakfast may deserve a pass.
Breakfast was nothing to write home about, according to guests who thought that the rather lacklustre offerings left a bit to be desired. The good news is that there are many cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
