Positive Reviews
positive:
Tropical setting with mountain views.
Beyond the palm-tree fronds of the garden vegetation, Mount Teide rises impressively, dominating the skyline. If you're looking for Tenerife scenery that's a bit different to the usual sea and sand, this is ideal, and it seems to wow guests.
positive:
Rooms are clean and comfortable.
It's the simple things, like having the room kept spotlessly clean, and having a comfy night's sleep, that really count. According to previous guests, at Sol Parque San Antonio, you'll have both, and it makes for a satisfying stay.
positive:
Quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
A break right on the beach is all very well, but you do have to contend with the rowdy crowds, screaming children, and enforced entertainment. If you want to get away from all of that, this hotel offers a quiet, mature environment.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Little in the way of buzz or entertainment.
While it's great for complete relaxation, if you're hoping for lots of activities to keep the children entertained, or a short walk to the local bars and restaurants, you'll be disappointed. The hotel is located up a steep hill, outside of the town.
negative:
Unreliable Wi-Fi that costs extra.
If there's one thing that annoys guests no end, it's the double whammy of having to pay for internet access, then the connection not working properly. You'll be better off finding a free Wi-Fi spot somewhere else.
negative:
Parking can be a tricky exercise.
While free parking is advertised, it's not onsite, and some guests report difficulties with finding a place to park. This is a pain, given the hotel's location, though most guests seem to manage ok.
