Lovely place for families to stay
This is a great place for families to stay, especially because of its affordable costs, onsite activities, and spacious bedrooms. Children have plenty to do to avoid being bored, and the friendly staff are as helpful as possible, with ideas and tips to keep everyone happy.

Fantastic location for outdoor activities
It's incredibly easy to go golfing, hiking, biking, fishing, boating, or whatever else you're interested in outdoors. Parkwood Lodge is an awesome base for exploring Fish Creek and other Door County attractions and sites, and is a popular choice for travelers and Nature enthusiasts.
positive:
Quiet for such busy accommodations
Despite its proximity to many well populated sites, the inn doesn't pick up too much traffic and outside noise. Better still, is the sufficient noise buffering so you don't hear the staff and other guests so easily.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some rooms have a musty odor
The rooms are steadily undergoing renovations in increments, which means that older ones still have somewhat of a musty, stale odor. It's considerably distinctive from the remodeled rooms, so you may want to ask which one you have been reserved.
negative:
Bathrooms are small and uncomfortable
The bathrooms are not as generously sized as the bedrooms, and the lay-outs are awkward. There's not much space to lay out toiletries, and it's a bit uncomfortable even for one person to use.
negative:
Housekeeping often ignores floors
Strangely, the relatively high level of maintenance and cleanliness seems to miss the floors. They're often left scuffed and marked up by guests, and it's actually the rest of the inn's great housekeeping standards that make this so obvious.
