The Oyster Inn Oban features a charming rustic-chic theme running throughout. Rooms are spacious and include treated wood furnishings and rustic décor in a light, warm palette. The entire space from main room to en-suite is immaculately clean and everything feels fresh and high quality.

The hotel staff are all very down to earth and super-friendly which adds a great deal to the overall relaxed atmosphere that one can feel throughout. The relaxed attitude however does not mean that service isn't efficient, especially in the restaurant and bar.

The overall atmosphere at The Oyster Inn is warm and welcoming which goes a long way in helping guests to feel relaxed. The views over Loch Etive and the Mull are incredible with the sea a stone's throw away. The quality of the food is exceptional and the entire property is clean and freshly renovated.

Different rooms have different en-suite features and it is important to take this into consideration when choosing a room prior to booking. Some en-suites are shower only and if being able to relax and have a long soak is important, be sure to ask specifically for a room with bath en-suite to avoid disappointment.

While the surrounding area may be tranquil and idyllic, room walls are quite thin and do not adequately prevent noises inside the hotel from penetrating into the room spaces. This issue is more pronounced during busier periods when the hotel is fully booked and more people are coming and going.

Wi-Fi signal can be quite difficult at times with slow or intermittent signal quality, made worse during busier periods.
