Hotel Osaka Garden Palace (Osaka, Japan)

The vast majority of guests who've stayed here have applauded the hotel for operating a very punctual and — best of all — completely free shuttle bus service to and from Shin-Osaka train station. It runs every 15 minutes so waiting around isn't a concern either.

Although this hotel is located very close to the Sanyo Shinkansen train line, you don't need to worry about hearing bullet trains whizz past at all hours of the day and night. Indeed, a great many visitors said the soundproofing here is so good that they heard virtually nothing at all for the entire duration of their stay.

A significant number of travellers have reported very good things about the generous and really quite tasty Western/Japanese buffet breakfasts proffered here. Apparently, the Japanese option offers the greater taste sensations of the two.

In addition to being quite a way out from the city centre, numerous visitors have lamented the fact that there isn't that much to see or do in the area around the hotel, and that decent restaurants are pretty few and far between.

It is fair to say very few guests have been impressed by the somewhat diminutive size of the accommodations. Evidently, you don't get much ‘bang for your buck' — at least in terms of size — when staying here.

Many travellers have bemoaned the state of the hotel's rather tired interiors. Stained carpets, damaged walls and worn furnishings are just a few of the most commonly highlighted issues.
