Hotel Olentangy Motor Inn (Columbus, USA)

This hotel is said to be very convenient for anyone visiting the Ohio State University campus to visit family, friends or attend a sporting event. Furthermore, those who stayed considered it centrally located for accessing Nationwide Arena, OSU Hospital and other downtown attractions of Columbus and there is a Bob Evans restaurant located just outside.

According to reviews, Varsity Inn offers a comfortable budget accommodation option suited for those simply wanting somewhere cheap to sleep and shower, and there is apparently free coffee available around the clock. Keep in mind that for these reasons and the university proximity, it does often attract a young student crowd.

Whether it is from the train, which reportedly runs nearby, or the young student crowd which is said to frequent this hotel in groups, be aware that there is the potential for a fair bit of noise. On top of this, the walls were not thought to be very thick, so any light sleepers should definitely bring earplugs.

Although the rooms were generally thought to be clean and tidy, guests did occasionally mention that they were a bit run down, occasionally had maintenance issues and were in need of a deeper clean. Having said this, it does appear renovation was underway at the time of writing.

The staff at Varsity Inn was said to be helpful and nice enough, although some guests thought the hotel to be understaffed and would have liked more controlling of noise at night.
