Positive Reviews
positive:
Clean and simple accommodation.
For most, accommodation at Ola Bouganvilla offers all the basics you could need for a holiday; a small, but functional, kitchenette; hot, powerful showers; spacious balconies for drinks al fresco. Overall, a clean space with room for all the family.
positive:
Close to Santa Ponsa.
For those looking to enjoy everything Santa Ponsa has to offer, the hotel is situated a 15-minute downhill walk to all the shops, restaurants and, of course, beautiful beach. Just don't forget the walk back will be uphill (although, a taxi is, apparently, less than 5 euros).
positive:
Excellent facilities for children.
For most families, the draw of this hotel is the facilities on offer for children; with two pools- one with children's area and slide, play area and an animation team on hand to keep young ones entertained. There are games, discos and children of all ages can get involved.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Old-fashioned décor.
Previous guests have suggested that the hotel would benefit from being brought up to date. The interior is beginning to show its age; with peeling paint and tired-looking furniture gracing the apartments. You may also find some modern essentials missing from your kitchenette, such as a kettle and a toaster.
negative:
Noise at night.
While most guests will be considerate to others, there will always be a few that will cause issues for others. Some guests have reported being kept awake by rowdy groups, at times, and suggest avoiding apartments close to the pool and bar for this reason.
negative:
Wi-Fi; slow and expensive.
Wi-Fi is available, however, most state that it is overpriced and, despite the price tag, can be rather slow. If you would like a safety deposit box in your apartment you will need to pay a daily rate for this too.
