Guests having stayed in the newly renovated Ocean Tower rooms pointed out that they were quite pleased with the new furniture pieces, carpets and curtains, which made the rooms appear bright and fresh.

According to guests, the entire hotel grounds are well maintained and beautifully landscaped, offering a glimpse of serenity and true Hawaiian nature.

With the property being so large, guests noted that when staying in the Ocean Tower it may take up to 15 minutes to reach the lobby. They also added that there aren't enough elevators in the hotel to accommodate all guests, so waiting a long time for a ride might actually be less desirable than simply taking the stairs if you're willing and able.

Guests pointed out that the property is huge and houses over 1,200 rooms, which leads to a lot of people trying to check in or out and sharing the amenities and restaurants. If you're looking for a quiet, idyllic vacation you may want to consider this.

Between the various fees assessed for water sports, tennis, and gym classes, valet service and Wi-Fi as well as the rather pricey meals being served in the restaurants, guests found the hotel to be more expensive than comparable ones on the island.
