Whether they were taking the grandkids to see the Lincoln Memorials, doing business in Springfield, or just passing through, guests found the location of this hotel convenient for their needs. Those in the Springfield area for the Illinois State Fair enjoyed the hotel's proximity to the fairgrounds while others appreciated the nearby shopping center and restaurants all within easy walking distance.

The reports for this hotel were overwhelmingly positive. Many guests had stayed before, others said they would definitely return the next time they're in the Springfield area. They liked the reasonable prices, raved over the clean and comfortable rooms and spacious whirlpool tubs and described the staff as friendly and accommodating; some staff were even mentioned by name for their outstanding service.
