Guests spoke highly of the staff. They are courteous, polite and professional. The impeccable service, from the front desk staff to the house keeping staff, was greatly appreciated.

Guests are impressed with the quaint, well-kept inn. They felt that the inn has a classic feel to it. They liked the long hallways with sitting areas, libraries and the quiet environment. The property is located with easy access to the highways leading to the state college. They enjoyed the shuttle service that runs to multiple places in the town, the airport and the University Park. Guests noted that this location was perfect for all Pennsylvania state events. The short distance to a popular ice cream parlor was also attractive to the guests.

Guests liked the renovated rooms with comfortable beds, and a mix of pillows. The windows in the rooms added to their attraction. Guests were all praise for the tasteful food served in the on-site restaurants. They loved the ambiance of the pub and their fabulous wine menu. They also enjoyed the Sunday Brunch. The food and drinks were also reasonably priced.

Some guests felt that the property needs an overhaul. One room had a broken glass pane and a bathroom had a leak underneath the sink. Dim lights in the rooms and bathrooms was not appreciated. They felt that all rooms needed a fresh coat of paint. The tile flooring in the bathrooms also needed to be updated.

Guests noted that the fitness center is small with very few equipment. They recommend the management to spend money on more exercise machines.
