Positive Reviews
positive:
Ideal for a cultural visit.
With the Science and Arts area of the City a two-minute walk, everything from an Aquarium and an IMAX Cinema to an Opera House and a Science Museum are within easy reach. If you're seeking more historic sights, the Old Town is a short bus ride away.
positive:
No-frills option.
For most guests, a stay at NH Valencia Las Ciencias represents excellent value for money. Rooms are kept meticulously clean and are cosy and light with great beds and excellent showers. You'll struggle to find luxurious features, but the hotel is a clean and comfortable budget option, close to the City.
positive:
A healthy spread at breakfast.
An incredible spread is offered at breakfast at the neighbouring four-star hotel; especially if you favour healthy options. Fresh pastries, fruit, yogurts and cereals are all on offer- far exceeding the average continental offering.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Weak Wi-Fi.
Many guests have suggested that the free Wi-Fi is poor, with unstable connections and weak signal mentioned on numerous occasions. You can pay to upgrade to a faster option and, if you're a business traveller or will need to work during your stay, you will likely need to purchase this for a usable service.
negative:
Sparse room facilities.
Rooms are fairly basic and include only the necessities. Previous guests have suggested that tea and coffee making facilities, an iron, and minibar would be welcome additions to what is, currently, a sparse set-up.
negative:
Noise disturbance.
Guest rooms are all outward-facing which, on a positive note, means that they benefit from increased natural light. On a negative note, they do, however, experience some noise disturbance from passing traffic as a result and, in a part of the world where 2am rubbish collections are the norm, you may find your sleep is disrupted.
