The welcome from owners and staff is genuine and warm. They'll help you enjoy every aspect of your stay. Certainly, there is little to complain about as apartments are beautifully decorated and presented and contain everything needed for a happy break. The en-suite bathrooms are particularly impressive and there is a general feeling of true quality and excellent value.

Here, you can truly relax in surroundings that you'd be pleased to call ‘home'. Apartments are on the spacious side, there's masses of car parking and you can just ‘do your own thing' without the regimentation of a hotel; its mealtimes and noisy group bookings. The cost, though, is approximately the same!

It's only a minor moan, but, if self-catering, the odds are on you finding that kitchen equipment generally ... and cutlery in particular ... is a tad on the sparse side.

There are no Sky channels on the TV and the Wi-Fi signal is very poor.

You'll need to grit your teeth to walk into the town for newspapers etc; and it's definitely a car or taxi journey to the races. Big winners can always take a luxury limousine for the return journey! The apartments themselves are great, but access is via rather steep and narrow stairways.
