the house has three rooms with 7 beds, a sitting room withTV, books, games and toys for children, a well equiped kitchen and shared bathroom with shower and WC for all guests.On the farm are horses mostly mares which have their foals once a year in May- begin of June.Guest can watch the mares with their newborn foals with the host which offers short walking trips to see them.There are guided walking trips around the farm and to the lake on request.Special events are the sheeps round ups in the peninsula in begin and middle of September and the horse round ups on the last Saturday of September and the fist weekend of October. Good hiking condtions from the farm and in the area nearby.Birdwatching places down by the lake and few km from the farm. Troutfishing in lakes of the peninsula.Hvammstangi village with a supermarket, a cafe , restaurant with seaview , a handicraft shop, the Icelandic seal centre a museum about life of seals and exhibition of birds and tourisinformation and a swimming pool with three hot tubes for relaxing.Sealwatching by sea from the village.
