The staff at Napa Winery Inn simply could not be more pleasant or helpful. They will greet you warmly upon arrival and be incredibly friendly and thoughtful throughout your stay. They can give you some excellent tips on the best local wineries to visit and on where to eat in the area. They also keep the property very clean indeed.
The free wine tastings at the hotel are a lovely way to kick off the evening. Also, the breakfast here is pretty good too, with a reasonable selection of items, all of which are nice.
This hotel is conveniently placed at the foot of Napa Valley wine country. It's close to Highway 29, which means it is easy to get to a large number of wineries and other attractions in the area. Downtown Napa isn't far away either.
Napa Winery Inn is starting to look rather dated. Some of the carpets are worn and the décor and the furniture could use a revamp.
There are sound issues at this hotel which might affect your sleep. Firstly, it is close to the highway, meaning there is a lot of traffic going past. Also, if your room is close to the lobby, the breakfast area or the laundry room, you will certainly hear noise from there. The air-conditioning units are quite loud as well and if the people in the room above you are walking around, you might hear that as well.
Some of the pillows here are rather on the hard side and a few seem past their best.
