Lots of visitors have heaped praise on the location of this hotel, mostly because it is within such easy reach of Nippori train station (five minutes) and Nishi-Nippori metro station (ten minutes). However, many guests also loved the fact that there are plenty of markets, shops, restaurants and parks (including Ueno Park) of note in the area as well.

Receptionists are extremely helpful
A great many visitors have reported very good things about the overall standard of service and level of help they received from the reception staff during their stay here. Evidently, the guys and gals behind the front desk are quite willing to go that extra mile to ensure visitors have a pleasant stay.

It is fair to say the accommodations here provide everything you might need for a short stay. Most guests were greatly impressed by their highly functional design as well as their neat and tidy appearance.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Reception shuts down for the night
Numerous guests have expressed consternation that this hotel - ostensibly a business hotel - doesn't operate a 24-hour reception desk. If you have a query, quandary or question for the front desk team then make sure you get it sorted by 9.59pm because there won't be anyone around after 10pm!
negative:
Guest rooms don't get cleaned
It is not clear whether this hotel's policy of not cleaning rooms for the duration of a guest's stay is down to eco-friendly practises or simply because guests are expected to look after themselves in a ‘fully self-catering' fashion. Either way, it is clear precious few guests appreciate it.
negative:
Bathrooms are very small indeed
A great many visitors have noted (with some frustration) that the modular-style bathrooms in the accommodations are unfeasibly small.
