HOTEL MYSTAYS Hamamatsucho (Tokyo, Japan)

Travellers liked that they could step off a flight at Haneda Airport, board a monorail to the final station of Hamamtsucho and walk two minutes to arrive at their hotel.

Although the hotel already provides Wi-Fi, it also rents portable hotspots so guests can stay connected while they're outside the building. Several guests really liked this perk and recommended it for other travellers.

Staff communicated well in English and visitors praised their efficiency in check-in and check-out.  They were praised for handing local maps out to guests and helping them navigate nearby places.

Several disappointed guests noted that when they checked in, they observed lots of dust inside their rooms as well as hair on the floor and in the bath. They also noted lack of maintenance as the walls looked dilapidated and the towels looked weathered.

Welcome to Toyko and expect the rooms to be a bit on the smaller side. Many guests commented that the rooms are so compact to the point that it's difficult to open luggage. Several said that the rooms intended for two people felt too cramped to accommodate more than one person.

Guests who requested non-smoking rooms said they were bothered by the strong stench of cigarette smell in their room. For Western guests who've grown accustomed to smoking bans indoor, this was an unwelcome way to sleep.
