The beach is approximately a ten minute walk away. Torquay boasts Blue Flag beaches and many popular attractions in the surrounding area such Paignton Zoo, Kents Cavern, Splashdown and the Dartmouth Steam Railway.
Reviews from previous guests had nothing but praise for the owner. He runs the guest house by himself and does a really good job of it. He will go out of his way to make you feel really welcome, furthermore he is really knowledgeable of the local area and can give suggestions on what there is to see and do. He will also cater for any special dietary requirements and cooks an impressive breakfast to set you up for the day ahead.
The guest house boasts a great location within easy walking distance of the town centre and the sea front. There are some beautiful beaches here. There are many shops, bars and restaurants in the centre including some quieter bars and a curry house just a few streets away which have been recommended by previous guests.
The guest house is very homely with the rooms and the communal areas spotlessly clean and not a speck of dust to be seen anywhere. It is well decorated throughout and the beds are very comfortable.
There isn’t any on-site parking available. Despite this there is ample free parking on nearby streets and a secure multi-storey car park a few minutes away.
One previous review has said that the carpets in the bedroom were old, however the owner has responded to this by saying that they had been newly fitted in the previous twelve months.
