Hotel Mozonte (Managua, Nicaragua)

The staff at Mozonte makes your stay easy and worry free. Guests greatly appreciated the shuttle service provided for guests, noting its convenience. The hotel will gladly arrange airport pick-ups and drop offs. Guests who requested pick-up service were delighted that the driver was on-time, easy to meet, and reliable. In addition, the hotel has 24-hour security, which made most guests feel very safe.

Mozonte offers a free breakfast buffet every morning and guests say it’s a must-try. The buffet features a large variety of foods, all decent quality and quite tasty. The onsite restaurant also does not disappoint, though some guests said the portions could be larger.

Overall, guests were delighted with their stay and their rooms at Mozonte, which guests noticed are well laid-out. All accommodations are equipped with strong air conditioning and good Wi-Fi. The hotel complex consist of two buildings, one older and one newer. Guests say the newer building is probably better, because it has a larger pool and Jacuzzi. However, if you’re not picky about modern design, the older one isn’t bad either.

The two pool areas are often described as beautiful, but guests say they are small and shallow. They are more suitable for dipping rather than swimming. In addition, the pool areas tend to be crowded, and very loud.

Mozonte is a noisy hotel, and is known for hosting lots of events, especially on the weekends. Guests highly recommend bringing earplugs.

Guests weren’t too impressed with the housekeeping staff. Their cleaning wasn’t very detail oriented and rooms appeared a bit dirty upon check-in. Many rooms, especially in the older building, are also in need of cosmetic repair.
