Travellers generally agree that the hotel offers very good value for money, describing the rooms as well laid out, sparkling clean, quiet, and stylishly decorated. The One Lounge is also very popular; night owls appreciate that the bar is open 24-hours, while early birds enjoy the reasonably priced coffee and breakfast buffet.

The reception staff are widely described as friendly and professional, pleased to answer any questions tourists may have about the city.

Few travellers fail to mention the hotel's excellent location at the Westbahnhof transport hub, which offers easy access to the U-Bahn for a quick trip to the city centre as well as trains destined for other cities. Hotel guests are also within a few steps of an airport bus stop and a shopping mall.

Guests have been unpleasantly surprised to discover the rooms lack "standard" amenities such as a kettle, fridge, and telephone. Others have also been inconvenienced by the minimal toiletries, noting that there is a complimentary shower gel but no hand soap.

The rooms are widely considered to be on the small side, and are described by some travellers as  "tiny" and "cramped." Guests staying for a formal occasion or longer than a weekend have found the lack of closet space and laundry facilities to be inconvenient.

Guests have described the Wi-Fi as unreliable, and note that the working desks are not overly large. Issues with room climate, booking errors, and indifferent customer service in response to these or other, similar difficulties have also been reported.
