Positive Reviews
positive:
Good location for great price
For many, the location of this Motel 6 was its top amenity. Situated just off of I-70, it is great for those exploring the area's history or hoping for a bargain in one of its numerous antique shops. Add to that a great price and this motel is hard to beat.
positive:
Friendly staff and chic lobby
Many have sung the praises of this property's staff. This may be a budget hotel, but staff here go out of their way to offer a warm welcome to guests. This good first impression is enhanced by the chic, minimalist ambience of the lobby, which has received much positive feedback.
positive:
Huge rooms and pet-friendly
Rooms here are extremely spacious, something that didn't go unnoticed by guests. Pet lovers were also very happy to note that no additional fees were levied for their four-legged friends.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Under refurbishment
At the time of writing, this hotel appears to be undergoing refurbishment. While the end result will hopefully mean an overall more positive guest experience, for the moment, things are definitely in transition. For guests, this unfortunately seems to equate to an overall untidy appearance here, with many reporting masking tape on windows and bare bulbs. Despite the attempt to bring this hotel up to standard, for many, the property appears to be unloved and tired.
negative:
Stained linen, thin walls, lumpy beds
Many guests have reported stains on sheets, linens and duvets here. This is something that, along with the refurbishment process, only seems to add to the worn appearance of this Motel 6.
negative:
Housekeeping issues
Unfortunately, there were a number of reports here of dirty rooms and bathrooms. Many noted that the bathrooms themselves seemed to be problematic, with dirty toilet bowls being a particular issue.
