Cleanliness and maintenance issues
Some reviewers felt certain rooms were run down and called for further modernization to address cosmetic issues like dated decor, marked walls, tired-looking furniture and aging carpets. An occasionally unreliable hot water supply, dim lighting, ineffective air-conditioning and blocked drains were among the maintenance issues some guests faced. There were reports of cleanliness problems too such as sub-standard bathroom cleanliness, stained linens and mold in some rooms.

Claims of unreliable Wi-Fi
The gesture of free Wi-Fi was welcomed by guests. However, it was sometimes claimed that the network was beset by poor speeds and spotty coverage.
negative:
Unpleasant smells
Musty smells and pet odors were a nuisance for guests in some rooms. Furthermore, there were occasional reports of lingering smoke smells, even in some non-smoking rooms.
