Free parking is a real bonus and often dismissed in a hotel's list of features. Here, it's free and plentiful ... so no parking costs at all!

Restaurants and shops are all in the immediate area; so the choices for eating are plentiful.

Beds are super comfy. This, in addition to the fact that the motel is mercifully quiet, ensures a good night's sleep.

Blocked drains, lack of 'basics' such as toilet rolls and towels, bed heads falling off ... (*without any encouragement!) ... and dirty floors and showers. It all adds up to a not very pretty picture. There's more! There is NOT a microwave in every room, the phone doesn't work and bed linen is left so long, it can virtually change itself! The communal microwave in the lobby, in keeping with other features, lacks any hygienic appeal whatsoever.

You can't win here. There's a strong smell - obviously established over a long period of time - of damp, accentuated by blocked toilets and accumulated flies and insects.

There's a policy of not refunding monies paid in advance. It's easy to see why they settled on this! Pity, though, the poor guest who paid up front in innocence and ignorance and trusting that they would get fair value!
