Positive Reviews
positive:
Warm cookies in the afternoon
A number of guests mentioned that, should they be passing the reception area mid-afternoon, they would be able to pick up a delicious warm chocolate-chip cookie. The hotel puts these out to help guests bridge the gap between lunch and dinner.
positive:
Exceptional value for money
There was no doubt at all that guests were very happy with the value for money they received during their stay. They felt that they received excellent clean accommodation in a fantastic location for an exceptionally reasonable room rate.
positive:
Terrific location
Guests mentioned two reasons why they really liked the hotel’s location. Firstly, they found that being so close to the interstate was incredibly convenient, since it meant they had no busy city streets to negotiate when heading to or from their destinations. Secondly, they really liked being across from the mall, since they had all the shopping they could possibly want just steps away.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Disappointing start to the day
One of the few negative points many guests agreed on was that the breakfast was a big disappointment. The main issue was that there simply wasn’t a wide enough variety of foods offered to generate much enthusiasm. A secondary problem, mentioned by some, was that the hotel used disposable dinnerware. Guests found this to be cheap and also poor practice from an environmental perspective.
negative:
A bit of a noisy environment
A number of guests mentioned that their sleep was disturbed by inconsiderate guests making too much noise, both in the hallways and in adjacent rooms.
negative:
Bugs in the rooms
A number of guests traveling in the summer mentioned that their room, and even the hallways, often had bugs flying or creeping around. The windows can be opened, and it seems that when guests, or housekeeping, do this the bugs gain entry.
