The property has log fires on cooler days whilst during the summer months guests are free to enjoy the large moorland gardens. The setting sun in the west is a sight to behold. The three course dinners plus coffee/tea and mints has gained an enviable reputation and wherever possible fresh local produce is used - fish, meat, game, vegetarian food is always available. Moor view is an ideal touring centre for the many National Trust properties, Eden Project and all the north and south coast of Devon and Cornwall.
