Positive Reviews
positive:
Views are indeed spectacular
All of the hype about the picturesque views are true indeed, and even more amazing in person! It's not unusual to get lost in your thoughts or delay your itinerary, just from sitting back and taking in the beautiful atmosphere.
positive:
Terrific breakfast and restaurant dishes
The breakfast meets if not exceeds expectations, and is considered one of the top benefits of staying here. The restaurant's lunch and dinner menus also receive the same high level of praise, presenting expertly cooked and lovingly presented dishes that make for memorable dining.
positive:
Well mannered and helpful staff
You're likely to leave this inn feeling like you've made some new friends, thanks to the staff's great personalities and attentiveness. They love sharing their knowledge of the area, and pointing out great things to do that fit all budgets, preferences, and ages.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Highway noise is a great distraction
It's a disappointment to say the least, that a lot of noise from the highway makes its way over to the rooms. Even with the windows closed, you'll probably hear vehicles, so try to use ear plugs or some kind of white noise to drown it out, if need be.
negative:
Poor housekeeping and dirty carpets
The carpets are in obvious need of stronger shampooing and cleaning, and perhaps even replacement. Housekeeping also tends to miss things, such as not sufficiently cleaning the tea kettle, other kitchenware, or towels.
negative:
Difficulties with Wi-Fi and hot water
It's difficult at times to maintain a warm to hot bath, and there's also inconsistencies with maintaining a strong Wi-Fi signal. Although minor inconveniences and not always predictable, they may still affect your stay.
