About Hotel Mondial
Hotel Mondial is a 3-star hotel in the mainland Venice district of Marghera, just ten minutes from central Venice by bus, or by shuttle train which runs to Santa Lucia Station from Venezia Mestre Station, 100 metres away. The hotel is found a five-minute drive from the motorway and 4.2 kilometres from the Nave de Vero shopping centre.
All 62 rooms come with a private bathroom and hairdryer, individually-controllable air conditioning, TV and direct-dial telephone. Two apartments are available, each with a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom.

Mondial was found to be well-located for the buses and train shuttles which head into central Venice itself, and a short drive to central parking in Piazzale Roma, and guests said there were also with a few bakeries, a supermarket and restaurants in the area.

Several guests mentioned that there was free parking available at the hotel, and there is also a restaurant, should you be in need of a quick meal at home.

Small rooms, grubby, mosquitoes.
Some guests reported that the rooms and bathrooms at Mondial were small, a few others found the walls grubby, the furnishings plain and the mattresses old, and many reported having lots of mosquitoes in their room.

The continental breakfast did not win many fans due to what guests thought was a limited selection of cheeses, bread, ham and cakes, with no fruit in sight.

While Wi-Fi could be found in the common areas, many guests were unhappy to find it missing in their rooms, while the air conditioning was often found to be too weak, to the extent that toasty guests were sometimes left with the feeling it was not turned on at all.
