Hotel Mirador Arabeluj (Granada, Spain)

The incredible views form the terrace and some of the rooms were by far what guests most appreciated about Mirador. They almost felt like they were resident at the Alhambra, such was the commanding position. The sunsets from the terrace were said to be especially lovely.

A surprising number of guests mentioned that there was free parking on the street right outside the Mirador. While it can obviously not be guaranteed, they also seemed to indicate that they never had any trouble finding a spot nearby.

While the hotel is some distance from the very centre of Grenada, down a fairly steep hill, guests mentioned that there is a convenient bus stop right outside the hotel, with buses taking one right into town.

Unfortunately, numerous problems with the Wi-Fi were reported. Firstly, it was said that it didn't really work in the rooms, but only at reception and rooms nearby. Secondly, even when within range it was said to be very unreliable. Guests who have a pressing need for reliable connectivity might need to consider activating data roaming.

It was hard to find a good word written about the breakfast. While the views from the terrace where it was served were spectacular, the food itself was judged to be inadequate, with very little effort seeming to have gone into its preparation.

This was mentioned by some, but certainly not all, guests. It appears that there may be rooms sold in the same class that differ greatly in size. Those who found themselves in the smaller rooms were a little unhappy, and especially unhappy with the small bathrooms, which they said were awkward to use.
