Today, Madonna di Campiglio is Italy’s number one ski resort, as well as, one of the most significant resorts in the Alps. It is a small and cozy town nestling at an altitude of 1522 meters in the beautiful valley between the Brenta Dolomites and the glaciers of Adamello and Presanella. The highest peaks of the resort are Cima Tosa (3173 m) and the Cima Brenta (3150 m). Ski season starts in December and lasts till April.Madonna di Campiglio is a very pleasant town with excellent shopping and apres-ski. The variety of its mountain surroundings mean that in winter it is possible to ski over countless kilometers of runs, up to an altitude of 2600 metres and with different degrees of difficulty.
