Hotel Microtel Inn & Suites (Raton, USA)

Guests really appreciated the hotel’s location, right off the interstate. It seems that many guests were on road trips and were only staying briefly before heading off again. They found that being so close o the highway made the hotel easy to find initially and in a convenient spot for when they were ready to head off again.

A large number of guests were very pleasantly surprised by the size of their rooms. They were clearly significantly bigger than they had expected and they felt they had more than enough space to stretch out and enjoy their stay.

There was said to be a great variety of dining options very near the hotel, most within easy walking distance. Most were part of national restaurant chains and guests were happy to have a great choice of reliable options so close to where they were staying.

It was very hard to find a good word written about the hotel’s complimentary continental breakfast. Guests described it as consisting of not much more than bread and muffins, with no protein rich foods at all.

Guests were not entirely comfortable with the area the hotel was situated in. The parking lot, and much of the surroundings, was said to be a magnet for the homeless and other people with nothing to do with their day. This made guests a bit uneasy, especially regarding the safety of their car.

Too many guests for comfort encountered problems with the front desk staff. The most common compliant was that they seemed uninterested in doing any more than the absolute bare minimum when it came to guest relations.
