An astonishing number of guests reported that the bed in their room was very comfortable indeed. Taking into account the lack of complaints, it sees reasonable to conclude that the hotel has managed to select a mattress with truly broad appeal.

The staff were one of the first things that guests mentioned in their reviews. The overwhelming majority considered them to be a credit to the hotel, and to have offered a warm welcome on arrival and good professional service during their stay.

Even guests who admitted to having very high standards in this regard felt that housekeeping had done an excellent job to get their room spick and span before they checked in, and also did a good job to keep it that way during the course of their stay.

Many guests who had booked non-smoking rooms were disappointed that the whole hotel was not non-smoking. Since it seems the smoking rooms are not in a dedicated wing, guests mentioned that the hallways near their room often smelled strongly of tobacco smoke.

A large number of guests reported being able to easily hear sounds form the adjacent rooms. Not just noise, but also regular sounds like people speaking or a TV playing at regular volume. They felt the rooms had not been well soundproofed.

Guest after guest mentioned that they really didn’t think much of the complimentary continental breakfast offered. Even by those limited standards, guests did not believe the breakfast measured up. To most it was nothing more than bread, muffins and a drink.
