There are both smoking and non-smoking rooms at Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham Nashville which could be a drag if you are a non-smoker.  You could check in and find yourself in a room that has previously been smoked in, which reeks of the stale smell of second hand smoke, even if you've requested a non-smoking room.

It's unfortunate that this hotel does not feature coffee makers in their regular rooms which means you have to go to the lobby to get your morning caffeine fix. The suites do feature coffee makers, so the good news is that if this amenity is something you want, you can always ask for an upgrade.

It's been a while since the guest rooms at this property have been renovated and it shows. Dated furnishings and carpeting and bathroom fixtures that have seen better days are among the worst offenders.
