Hotel Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dry Ridge (Dry Ridge, USA)

One of the first things many guests mentioned in their reviews was that they had a great choice of places to eat nearby, many within walking distance. They liked that they didn’t need to travel far, or even get into their car, in order to eat well.

It was very rare to read a complaint about room cleanliness. The overwhelming majority of guests mentioned that their room was spotless on check-in and that it remained in good condition during the course of their stay.

A surprising number of guests mentioned that the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Since there were no real complaints to speak of, it seems reasonable to conclude that the hotel has managed to select a mattress with truly broad appeal.

There were far too many complaints about rude reception staff for comfort. While guests did also mention that some other staff were pleasant, the rudeness by some members definitely left a sour taste in their mouths.

A surprising number of guests reported that they really missed having a coffee maker in their room. While coffee was available downstairs, this was simply not as convenient as being able to make a cup of Joe in your room while still in your pajamas.

While the hotel does describe it as a simple continental breakfast, guests felt it was weak, even by these low standards. The main complaint was that it simply didn’t have enough variety, with limited carbohydrate based foods and no meat or other protein sources at all.
