The staff at Microtel Inn by Wyndham Bowling Green are great. They will greet you warmly and are pleasant, polite and hard-working at all times. If you have a problem or a query, then they will deal with it swiftly, efficiently and with a smile. They can offer useful knowledge about the local area as well.

The hotel is just off the interstate and is well lit, making it easy to find and also nicely safe for the solo traveler. It is close to a number of attractions, including the Corvette Museum. There are places to eat nearby as well.

Guestrooms are clean enough and contain useful conveniences, such as refrigerators and microwaves. The beds are comfortable too.

The hotel isn't the quietest. The sounds of the traffic from the interstate will likely be audible and the fact that the walls feel quite thin mean that you'll be able to hear people all through the night. Sounds from neighboring rooms will be clearly heard if the people within them aren't being particularly quiet, as will slamming doors. Some of the air conditioning units are loud as well.

There isn't much selection within the breakfast buffet. The bagels can be stale and the bananas are sometimes either too green or past their best. What's more, the area in which breakfast is served is far too small.

Some of the guestrooms here are pretty tiny. You might not have much room to spread out and things might feel a little cramped.
