Positive Reviews
positive:
An exceptionally well connected location...
Guests travelling by train appreciate that the Gare de Lyon Part-Dieu TGV station is right next door, while air travellers love that the hotel is just across the street from the Rhone Express to St Exupery airport. The hotel is also well connected to the rest of the city via tram, bus, and metro, though healthy travellers are able to walk to all the sights of Vieux Lyon (25 minutes for the speediest among them, closer to 40 minutes for the more leisurely walkers).
positive:
Clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet...
Guests are often pleased to find that train and tram noise is not an issue, even in rooms overlooking the tracks. The rooms are widely described as spacious and spotlessly clean, with tasteful, modern decor. Many like having the toilet and bathtub in separate rooms, and extra touches in Privilege rooms, such as the Nespresso machine and complimentary minibar items, are much appreciated.
positive:
Top marks for the staff...
The hardworking staff at reception, in the restaurant, and in housekeeping earn very high ratings for their services, with guests often describing the entire team as friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. The breakfast buffet is also very good, though not inexpensive.

negative:
A tough spot for drivers...
Though drivers appreciate the underground parking on site, many are dismayed by the lack of temporary parking for use during check-in, and struggle to find the garage entrance if they are unfamiliar with the area.
negative:
The downside of the neighbourhood...
Some guests describe the neighbourhood surrounding the train station as "unpleasant," and hesitate to go further than the closest metro or tram stop.
negative:
Nobody's perfect...
Though the hotel has a very high overall rating, guests are occasionally let down by housekeeping oversights, delays at the front desk, or similar inconveniences.
