Positive Reviews
positive:
Good onsite dining all round
It didn’t seem to matter much what meal was being discussed, the overwhelming number of guests had only good things to report. The meals were said to be very tasty, with the food well prepared and the atmosphere of the restaurant quite congenial.
positive:
Great public areas
Many guests complimented the hotel on its design, especially the fact that they had incorporated great public spaces where guests could relax and socialize. They definitely didn’t feel that it was the kind of hotel that was designed to get guests into their rooms as soon as they entered the property.
positive:
Extremely comfy beds
An extraordinary number of guests mentioned that the pillow top mattresses used by the hotel were some of the most comfortable they had ever slept on. So much so that they wondered how they were going to get them past the reception staff and into their car without them noticing.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Breakfast hours far too limited
Quite a number of guests were not happy with the posted breakfast hours. They found that the hotel stopped serving breakfast far too early. Leisure guests were most likely to complain that they had to rush to try to make it downstairs before all the food was packed up, but those staying at weekends were most unhappy. They would definitely have appreciated the ability to sleep in.
negative:
In need of an update
This was quite a frequent complaint. Guests believed that it had been some time since the hotel was last updated and they felt that it was long overdue for one now.
negative:
Noise in the hallway
A number of guests mentioned being disturbed by noise from the hallways. They often mentioned that children were allowed to run up and down and make a racket unsupervised, without any staff intervening.
