positive:
Relaxed and friendly service
Although there are some exceptions to this, the majority of previous guests have enjoyed the standard of service here, often finding the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. Rob and Sarah, the owners of the B&B, seem happy to help where possible.
positive:
Delicious breakfast
Guests tend to rate the standard of breakfast here highly, finding the food well cooked and presented. The dining room is nicely decorated and offers pretty views. Note, though, that all guests sit round the same table, which may not be to everyone's tastes.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some housekeeping/maintenance issues
Previous guests have sometimes felt a little disappointed with the standard of the bedrooms here. While impressive on first glance, detailed inspection reveals some housekeeping and maintenance issues. Chipped paintwork, broken lights and ill-fitting bed linens are among the problems highlighted.
negative:
Bathrooms may disappoint
The bathrooms also seem to suffer from a lack of thorough housekeeping and maintenance. Guests report issues such as grubby showers, a multitude of stray hairs and botched plumbing jobs.
negative:
Can be noisy
A small number of guests mention that they found Manor Farm a little noisier than they had perhaps anticipated. External noise doesn't seem to present a problem but it seems that internal soundproofing could be a little better. In particular, guests find the room above the breakfast room noisy from early in the morning.
