Hotel Lydgate House (Yelverton, United Kingdom)

Lydgate House Hotel is situated in Postbridge, a small village located right in the middle of Dartmoor National Park. We have 36 acres of moorland and trees and are situated 500 metres away from the village up our drive. Therefore away from the road but within easy walking distance. We have 7 bedrooms ( 5 doubles and 2 singles). We are 150 metres away from the East Dart river and some of the rooms have river views. We also have a lounge with a small Bar and a conservatory Dining room both of which have views down to the river and across the grounds. Breakfasts are included in the room rates, and we are able to provide either a 2 or a 3 course dinner from 19.00 from Tuesday to Saturday (inclusive). Because of our relatively small size we nether have more than 12 people staying, therefore peace and tranquility are the order of the day. We are in an ideal location for walking across Dartmoor, without having to use your car once you arrive. Packed lunches are available on request. Some rooms have river views as does the lounge and Conservatory Dining room for Breakfasts and Dinners.
