Negative Reviews
negative:
Reception not manned after work hours.
The lodge reception is reported to be manned only during traditional working hours, which has led to a number of issues arising. Guests seeking assistance after hours have to contact a designated telephone number rather than simply heading for reception. Meanwhile, travellers checking in after hours have to do so at another hotel back in the village.
negative:
Expensive on-site parking.
Guests arriving by car can park in the lodge’s heated, underground parking lot. However, it has been reported that the daily fee for parking is fairly steep and can soon add up for longer stays. Meanwhile, parking spaces are said to be compact and difficult to navigate.
negative:
In-lodge sundries soon run out.
According to reports, basic supplies can quickly run out. Guests point out that they are provided with minimal toilet paper, washing-up liquid, and other necessary sundries. Once items have run out, it’s necessary to head to the village for replacements.
