Positive Reviews
positive:
Very conveniently situated
While the hotel is obviously not in the centre of Athens, even guests who wanted or needed to be there said they found London's location much better. It was said to be a very good neighbourhood, and close to a train station that could take them into central Athens in a relatively quick time.
positive:
Really good breakfast
While it was only a relatively straightforward buffet, many guests were quite impressed with the breakfast offered, saying it was varied, and served in sufficient quantities to really set them up for the day.
positive:
Nice sea views
While a bit less than half the rooms get to enjoy the sea views, the guests allocated the sea facing rooms did seem to appreciate how lovely they were. Especially noted was that there was no major road between the building and the sea.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Street facing rooms a bit noisy
Quite a few guests pointed out that the hotel is on a busy main road, and that the road noise does tend to leak into the front facing rooms, even with the windows closed. Light sleepers are advised to bring earplugs.
negative:
Rooms showing signs of age
While not considered a major issue, many guests did point out that the rooms were starting to look a little dated. They felt that if they went too much longer without renovating the rooms, they would quickly slip quite far down the ratings ladder.
negative:
Teeny tiny showers
Quite a few guests were unhappy with the size of the shower in their bathroom. They seemed to indicate that even normal size people would not be comfortable showering in such a small space.
