Positive Reviews
positive:
Calm oasis in the bustling city
Ho Chi Minh City
was described as a bustling city with an incredible amount of frenetic energy.
Guests seemed to love both watching the city life go by from the hotel itself,
as well as use the hotel as a tranquil oasis after a day of exploring the busy
streets.
positive:
Terrific rooftop pool
Though it was described as maybe just a little too small, guests really seemed to love the rooftop pool, even if they never swam in it. It seems it was the views over the city skyline that really impressed.
positive:
Great restaurants nearby
While many guests were lukewarm when it came to the food at the in-house restaurants, some went on to say that they were impressed by the quality and variety of eating places in the immediate area.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Shower and bath problems
The hotel is fairly new, and has a trendy design. Like many such hotels, the baths and showers are constructed in such a way that they look very good, but unfortunately result in the bathroom floor being flooded when guests shower or bath. Many guests mentioned this problem, and were at a loss as to how to prevent the flooding.
negative:
Some question the value for money
The hotel overwhelmingly made a good impression on guests, but quite a few questioned the value for money. To them the room-rate was very high for Ho Chi Minh City, and they were in two minds as to whether they received good value for the high room-rate.
negative:
Some staff a little rude
While the majority of guests did not mention this, there were perhaps a bit too many complaints to be ignored. Especially in the restaurants, some guests mention the staff being unengaged and even rude at times.
