Positive Reviews
positive:
Close to everything.
With its location an easy walk from Mustek Metro Station, a one minute stroll from the Main Square and all the major points of interest in Prague within easy reach, you're ideally situated to enjoy a City break in the Czech Republic's Capital.
positive:
A cut above a Continental breakfast.
In comparison to the usual hotel Continental breakfast offering, the first meal of the day at Leon D'oro provides guests a choice of everything from bacon, sausage and eggs to cereal, fruit and yoghurt and a lot else besides. Vegetarians, and those with special dietary requirements, can also be catered for with prior notice.
positive:
A comfortable space to lay your head.
While rooms are basic, most previous guests have found them to be clean, tidy and spacious, and have found the kitchenettes a helpful addition to the space. All in all, a comfortable place to lay your head after a day of sightseeing.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Noise from late-night revellers.
Given its central location, it will come as little surprise to most that the hotel rooms are, on occasion, affected by noise; in particular, the sounds of late-night revellers returning to their accommodation. For most, however, it doesn't cause enough of a disturbance for them to consider staying further out of the City.
negative:
Well loved.
Previous guests have suggested that the hotel could benefit from some degree of investment in its furniture and fittings. The lift is small and old-fashioned and the furniture in guest rooms is mismatched and shabby in places.
negative:
Maintenance and cleanliness issues.
For some guests, the maintenance and housekeeping teams are not doing enough; air conditioning is frequently out of action and rooms are, at times, not cleaned at convenient times, and do not meet the standard most guests expect.
