In the heart of Alsace-Lorraine, at the foot of the Vo sges Mountain, nested in a small historical town, the 4-star Au Soldat de l'An II - is a lovely Inn with a refined decoration and today’s cooking. The dishes and numerous menus are changing depending on the season, and the best produces are always available on beautifully set tables. Early and late in the year, the game, issued from the local forests are on the front of the scene, then the truffles are coming along and are to be found on numerous dishes. Later, the fresh morels and the famous local asparagus are matching the spring recipes. The summer will bring its share of fresher dishes, made of many fishes, crustaceans, grilled meats and wild mushrooms, to be enjoyed in a wonderful flowery and thankfully shaded garden, matched with the best wines coming from our well stocked cellar. Tradition and renewal, enchanting the palate and eyes, enough to spend hours of true happiness in this home.
