Many guests were simply astonished, and very pleased, to discover that their room contained a fully functioning Apple desktop computer. They typically felt it was a terrific amenity, and allowed them to not only surf the web, but also access all manner of entertainment that they would not otherwise have been able to.

It did not seem to matter whether the purpose of the stay was business or pleasure, both categories of guests were in agreement that the location of the hotel was superb. Business travellers liked the proximity of the convention centre and the offices, while leisure guests mentioned the great shopping in St. Catherine's and the other downtown attractions.

Guests were generally very happy with their actual rooms, reporting that they not only found then very spacious, but also possessing a stylish design that belied the hotels star rating.

Guests travelling as late as August 2016 reported that there was ongoing construction/renovation at the hotel. It seemed to cause one or two issues with noise and dust that guests could have done without.

There were too many guests for comfort who were disappointed with the complimentary breakfast offered every morning. Most felt it was both a little bland and did not have the sort of variety that might cause a bit of excitement.

Quite a number of guests did not like that there was no onsite parking, and that the contracted parking garage was some distance from the hotel.
