About Lakes Entrance Holiday Units
With its absolutely fantastic position in the very heart of the village, and just a short walk from the gorgeous beach, Lakes Entrance Holiday Units is a motel style property offering self catering accommodation.
Units from one to three bedrooms are available, and feature all you’ll need for a great holiday, including air conditioning and TV.
Motorists will find ample off street parking right out front. The property also features a small garden with a play area that the kids will thoroughly enjoy.
Each unit has a kitchen and private BBQ, so guests are able to prepare a wide range of meals. Those not looking to self cater can visit one of the nearby cafes or restaurants. Funky Monkey Bakery Café is just steps away and serves delicious light meals.
The footbridge leading to Ninety Mile Beach is barely 200 yards from Lakes Entrance Holiday Units. The village itself, with its cafes restaurants, shops and docks, is hardly much further.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Absolutely unbeatable location
Guests staying here were clearly looking to be close to the beach and town, rather that in a quieter property out in the hills. They were certainly happy with their choice, reporting that both the beach and the town were within very short walking distance, and in many cases they could simply park their car and have a terrific holiday without using it again until they were ready to leave.
positive:
Truly exceptional staff
It was actually unusual to find a review that did not praise the staff in some way. They were described as very upbeat and friendly, which is of course just what one wants when on holiday, and also very helpful when it came to answering guests questions and offering local advice.
positive:
Decent outdoor facilities
Considering the very central location, guests were both surprised and pleased to find outdoor BBQ's and even a small garden with playground for their children.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Rooms looking a little tired
A number of guests commented that it had clearly been some time since the rooms had been renovated. They mentioned that they were now looking a little tired and could benefit from at least a quick refresh.
negative:
Some units without air conditioning
Despite the property's marketing materials, some guests reported tat their unit did not have an air conditioner in it. While they did seem to have ceiling fans, these were described as not being up to the job when the temperature really started to rise.
negative:
Hot water units very loud
A remarkable number of guests, clearly those unlucky enough to be next to a hot water unit, complained that they were unusually loud. In fact, they were said to be so loud that they disturbed the sleep of some who were very close to them.
