Hotel la Torre (Sauze d'Oulx, Italy)

Several reviews indicate that this hotel is extremely convenient when taking into account its location in respect of snow-skiing areas. Just a few kilometres awa are both the Sauze d'Oulx ski school and the Via Lattea ski area.

Being convenient in respect of snow-skiing areas is one thing, but being able to get to the slopes promptly is another. Luckily this hotel offers guests the convenience of a complimentary shuttle service to and from the slopes. Guests have appreciated this service and it has truly improved most guests' visit.

For a lot of guests, being in the town of Sauze d'Oulx is a foreign experience. However, the staff members at this hotel have done exceptionally well to make guests feel at home, recommend popular places of interest nearby and simply share a smile and friendly greeting on all occasions.

According to guests, the food offered at this hotel is not quite a four-star hotel standard. Guests feel as though the portions are small and the variety of food available does not stretch very far.

The tap and shower water, particularly later in the afternoon to evening, tends to be rather weak at times. Guests have ran out of hot water mid-shower and have also experienced very low-pressure showers which have not been all that welcome, especially after a day of skiing.

Although a room cleaning service is offered at this hotel, guests have still been disappointed to be gone an entire day and come back to find an untidy and unmade room. After happening a few times, it can get quite tiring for guests.
