The accommodation offered by Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Augusta is spacious enough for families or larger groups looking for an extended stay option in the area. Some include additional facilities for a more comfortable stay.

Hotel staff are friendly and very accommodating throughout the hotel. Front desk staff are great at offering useful advice to visitors to Augusta and can recommend the best places to see, eat at or shop at.

The hotel is well-situated for very convenient access to a range of entertainment and shopping attractions in the area and despite its ideal location, is still quiet from road noise from the nearby freeway and main road just outside.

There are a few maintenance issues which let down the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Augusta somewhat. Guests experience ongoing problems with hotel room door keycards that stop working, broken tiles in some en suite bathrooms, slow draining plumbing and low water pressure in the showers.

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi is all rooms as well as throughout the hotel in general. The Wi-Fi quality unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired and is at best slow and spotty, and at worst non-existent. Some accommodation does include wired internet access and those without this feature can still access the wired internet in the 24-hour business center.

Although Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Augusta housekeeping staff are friendly and approachable, housekeeping in general seems to be a bit of a hit or miss situation. Some rooms are clean and well-maintained while other rooms are dusty or do not have fresh items such as clean towels or consumable items like coffee replenished regularly.
