Hotel La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Salt Lake City Midvale (Midvale, USA)

While guests seemed reluctant to come out and directly state that the hotel was good value, mainly as a result of some issues they had during their stay, a few commented that the price was quite low compared to other hotels in the area. They believed the hotel would be good for people who just wanted a quick place to crash at a decent price.

The staff were clearly a highlight for many guests. Even those who listed major issues often had at least a few kind words to say about the staff. They were described as friendly and full of energy.

Skiers and snowboarders found that they were relatively close to the Alta and Snowbird areas, resulting in less time traveling and more time on the slopes.

While pet owners were very happy with how accommodating the hotel was when it came to pets, others were not necessarily as impressed. Some mentioned problems arising, such as dogs barking and disturbing those in the surrounding rooms and cleanliness and allergy issues as a result of pet hair and dander remaining after a room had been cleaned.

Although guests didn't exactly say that they felt the area was unsafe, they did describe a fair number of people aimlessly loitering about and a general sense that the area was a bit rundown.

While there were one or two compliments for housekeeping, the majority of guests were definitely unhappy with the cleanliness of their rooms. Too many issues were mentioned to be listed here, but guests where not shy about going into details.
