Positive Reviews
positive:
Friendly and welcoming staff
Again and again guests would mention that they were very impressed with the hotel's staff. They felt that they received a warm and genuine welcome, and that the staff had a friendly and helpful attitude that made them easy to approach.
positive:
Excellent value for money
While guests did seem to find minor faults with the property, most as a result of it being a bit older, a great many went on to add that they had received a very competitive room rate. Considering that they felt they received decent and well-placed accommodation, they concluded that they had received excellent value for money.
positive:
Very good location
Though some distance from downtown El Paso, guests explained that the hotel was situated close to the airport and right on the interstate, making it incredibly easy to get to get around.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Breakfast was very plain
It was hard to find a kind word written about the breakfast. For the most part guests found it very plain, with very little to offer diabetics and those on gluten free or low carb diets. The waffles seemed to be an exception, with guests charmed by the ability to make them themselves and the fact that they were in the shape of the Lone Star State.
negative:
Décor a little outdated
While guests didn't seem to find fault with either its cleanliness or functionality, many felt that the room décor was very outdated. Considering the low room rates they didn't feel they could complain too much, but would have like the hotel more if the décor was more up to date.
negative:
Noise from the highway
Unfortunately there was a cost attached to being in such a convenient spot. Some guests mentioned that the nose from the highway could disturb them at night.
