Hotel La Quinta by Wyndham North Platte (North Platte, USA)

The indoor pool and hot tub were undoubtedly guests' favorite features of the hotel. They are open all year, and guests appreciated being able to take a refreshing dip or melt away the day's tension in the hot tub.

Unusually for hotel reviews, there was near agreement among the reviewers that the mattresses used by the hotel were exceptionally comfortable. So much so that some wondered how they could get them out the door and into their car without hotel staff noticing.

The La Quinta Group is well known for its pet friendly policies. Guests reported that both they and their pets received a warm welcome, and that there was a great grass area outside ideal for walking their dogs.

Several guests reported that they could hear noise coming from the adjacent rooms pretty easily, and concluded that the hotel had not installed effective soundproofing between the rooms.

While pet-owners were naturally over the moon about the exceptionally pet-friendly environment, some others were not so happy. They found that dogs, no matter how well-behaved, had a tendency to bark, usually at the worst possible times.

Quite a number of guests seemed to find significant fault with the cleanliness of their room on check-in. The problems were varied, ranging from mold in the bathroom to unemptied wastebaskets, but they did not give guests the best first impression.
